Shipping Policy

We aim to ship most in-stock items and drop shipments within 2 -3 business days (Monday - Friday, excluding holidays), and on occasions when we can't or if there are any delays, we'll let you know as best we can.  We will only ship to shipping addresses that match billing addresses or have been associated with said billing address.  Note:  be sure to add 2-3 business days to account for your order delivery date.

Please also note that we may replace shipping method based on drop shipments.  Some manufacturers do not offer all carriers, such as UPS, USPS, FedEx etc.  We reserve the right to change based on what is offered by the distributor or manufacturer.

In some cases, actual shipping may vary from what is quoted on the website during checkout.  An example is large items that may need freight delivery, or your shipping address may require additional shipping, such as to those living outside the contiguous states, such as Alaska and Hawaii.  In such instance, we shall contact you with notification of the difference and if not agreeable, will cancel your order and offer a full refund.

Shipping Fees

Shipping costs are determined by package weight and the distance. All orders are shipped via either Fedex Ground Service, UPS Ground  Service or USPS depending on selection during ordering or availablity for your area.

Return Policy

We do not accept returns based on change on mind, or orders placed incorrectly unless due to a mistake on our part unless agreed to with a member of the sales staff via communication of email for confirmation.  Products that are not as described or are in error on our part shall be exchanged or refund only if notified to us within 7 days after receipt. RMA number is required for all return packages. For all defective products the customer shall file a warranty claim with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in accordance with the OEM warranty procedure. All non-defective returns for credit are subject to a 15% restocking fee. The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs

We do not accept cancelation of orders after the parts have shipped either directly, from distributors, or drop shipped direct from manufacturer.  If you decided you wish to cancel after an item is shipped, please contact us to issue an RMA and details of where to send the return item (locations may vary depending on where the packaged shipped from.)  All items returned in this manner will be subject to restocking fee of 15% and will not qualify for refund on shipping.  Returns sent without an RMA number cannot be confirmed as returned and are hard to trace, if at all.  Therefore we cannot promise canceletion or returns that do not have an RMA number issues before hand.  If an order(s) are returned without an RMA, though are managed to be traced, the restocking fee with have an additional 5%-10% applied for any additional time spent tracking and retreving the order.

Packing and Shipping of items for return

You can pack and send your return to us in just few simple steps:

1. Contact Customer Service sales@autopartssalon.com and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA);
2. Pack the items in the original boxes together with the original packing slip or receipt;
3. Write the RMA number that was given to you outside the shipping box for identification;
4. Mail the package back to AutoPartsSalon to the address provided with your RMA number.
